Fairfield County Community Foundation’s Giving Day Fundraiser on February 28th

Dr. Steve Zeide is involved with and on the board of The Stamford Animal Shelter Alliance (SASA) (previously known as Stamford Helping Paws). It  is a public/private nonprofit partnership set up by the City of Stamford to be the official fundraising organization for the Stamford Animal Control & Care Center (SACCC), Stamford’s municipal animal shelter. Their primary mission is to raise money to augment that which the City of Stamford can allocate to build a new, state-of-the-art animal shelter, a long-overdue and desperately needed project.

SASA will be participating in the Fairfield County Community Foundation’s Giving Day fundraiser on February 28th.  Please ‘follow’ and ‘like’ the Stamford Animal Shelter Alliance on Facebook and consider making a tax-deductible donation on Giving Day via their website  or click on  their Giving Day landing page. If everyone who wishes to see a new animal shelter in Stamford donates even $10 to SASA on Giving Day, SASA could win a $20,000 bonus prize. For more information about SASA, please contact them at stamfordanimalshelteralliance@gmail.com.

If that isn’t enough incentive to donate already, BHPH will be donating one week of Pet Lodging to the first 5 people to donate $300 or more. So please mark your calendars for Giving Day on 2/28 and and consider a donation to help get us a step closer to a new animal shelter here in Stamford.
